This is a valid question, but the answer should always be a strong spoken, NO! But what happens when your 4 year old asks your 3 year old to play dress up? The answer should always be a strong spoken, YES! Last night Veronica and I were sitting at the dining room table and the kids were getting restless. Caleb wanted to watch his Cars Toons and Faith wanted to watch Strawberry shortcake. This was causing some tension so Veronica suggested that they play dress up. Vee asked Caleb if he wanted to put on a dress and play with Faith. Caleb looked really puzzled but said, "uhhh....Nuhhh...Sure!" So off Faith went to put him in a dress and the rest is pee your pants hilarious.
He first came out with jewelry
Then Faith put lip gloss on him
Then he put on a veil!
After a while I could see that he was starting to question his decision
They finished their dress up time with a Strawberry Shortcake movie
Caleb had his first experience being dressed up as a princess. And yes I know what you are thinking, these pictures are too cute but he is going to hate you one day for this! Well it's not like I am going to hang on to these and use them for blackmail one day... ;)
Faith looks proud of her work in the one photo of them together! She finally had a sister for a while, haha!! The picture of him and the lip gloss...I can't stop laughing!! Oh my!!

I think Caleb owed Faith - she is pretty good about watching and playing Cars with him. He's definitely all boy, so luckily, I'm not concerned....yet. Hopefully, this doesn't become a habit.
ReplyDeleteLove you!
That is AMAZING!!! It's kind-of scary how pretty Caleb looks in the lip gloss pic! hahaha
