The Beautiful Madaline Jayne Hacias :)

I have just recently been getting into more serious photography and I got to have a special treat last Saturday morning. I had the opportunity to do my first photo shoot with a newborn. I worked with Madaline's mother Katy at the preschool and she said that she had wanted to find someone to take pictures of the baby when she arrived. I had mentioned that I was into photography and wanted to get better at it and was in need of some models. She invited me to take pictures of Madaline Jayne and I accepted! The rest is GORGEOUS, ADORABLE, BEAUTIFUL history ;)

Lightroom! :)

So yesterday I finally received my program Lightroom so that I could edit my pictures. I am so excited about this! I have a lot of pictures waiting to be edited and I have been busy trying to get to all of them. I finally finished some of the family photos I took of my aunt and two cousins. She had been wanting to have some new pictures taken of just the three of them and I of course said yes to the opportunity! :) I also took some of my momma and sisters with my Aunt Lisa. So here are some of the ones that I have edited.

Storm

Having a life, then having a different life for 7 months, then trying to fit back into my past has not exactly been "working out". Lost, I guess would be a good word for it. Trying to keep busy during the day with my job helps but, it always hits me when I am in my bed by 8 o'clock staring at the ceiling, then closing my eyes hoping that sleep will take me quickly. I was so sure of my purpose these past 7 months but now...I am not really sure what my purpose is. I have written about 10 other posts but have not posted them because they are not filled with pictures, they are filled with complaints about my life and I don't want to be that person. The truth is hard enough to admit to myself let alone anyone who reads my blog. So I guess you could call this post boring because all I am asking for are some prayers. Prayers that the days will get easier and that God will give me just an ounce of peace through my storm.
